Italian grammar test A1 - A2 - B1 - B2
Choose the right grammar test for you
To choose the right level, think about what you already know in Italian. If you only understand very simple sentences about yourself, family or work, start with the A1 test. If you can manage everyday situations and short conversations, try the A2 level. If you can talk about past experiences, future plans and give short explanations, the B1 test is probably right for you. If you read more complex texts, short articles or online content and express yourself more confidently, choose the B2 level.
After the test, use the results strategically: identify your weak points and review them first, set small weekly goals (for example, "learn direct pronouns" or "review the past perfect"), look for exercises focused on those points and repeat the test after a few weeks to measure your progress. This way, you'll turn the test into a real study guide, not just a score.
