Among the first major documented initiatives is "Pietro and Lucia", held in Bratislava in 2012 and listed in the UNIVERSO ITALIA & PARTNERS archive as an initiative under the High Patronage of the President of the Italian Republic, Giorgio Napolitano.

The initiative symbolically represents one of the first moments in which culture and international relations were used as tools for dialogue between Italy and Slovakia.
